Who
We Are
The Michael A. Fiorelli Foundation for Esophageal
Cancer Awareness Inc. has been established for the purpose of promoting
awareness of and education about esophageal cancer (EC). The organization
has been incorporated in the state of Maryland and is a 501(c)(3)
non-profit organization. It is named for Michael A. Fiorelli, whose
premature death resulting from EC is the inspiration for this effort
to protect others from falling victim to this deadly disease.

and other goals.
-To work cooperatively with other non-profit organizations
and entities in support of our mission to disseminate information
on EC through public and private health venues.
-To advocate research by government, corporate
and other research entities in pursuit of earlier diagnosis and
treatment of EC.
